Drammen Sacred Festival is now on its 6th run! We are delighted with the participation so far and wish to reach out to as many more people as possible. We have received feedback that the word “sacred” can be both inspiring, but also possibly intimidating to many, who may think that the festival is restricted to either a particular religious leaning or new wave spirituality.
We wish therefore to open up for a discussion around this loaded word in the spirit of what we believe in – namely that Drammen Sacred is a meeting place for all, regardless of religious background, culture, race, nationality or any other boundary. We are a festival that wishes to include everyone in a spirit of dialogue, peace and bridge-building.
We invite YOU to write about what is sacred to YOU! It could be a walk in the woods, dinner with a loved one or time with your children. It could be time spent in prayer, playing music or working on a project you burn for! Maybe you’d like to express it in the form of a picture, a photograph or a poem? There are no boundaries!
