Description
Solongo Tsegmid is a traditional Mongolian artist with a master’s degree from the Mongolian University, the Faculty of Arts and Culture. She currently works as a museum designer at the Zanabazar Museum of Fine Arts and at the Blue Moon Art Gallery in Ulaanbaatar.
Solongo is a modern artist and painter working with traditional expressions based on the Mongolian cultural and spiritual heritage.
During the week of the festival, her work will be presented through various exhibitions and installations. She will offer workshops in traditional calligraphy, and give lectures.
The lecture will be interpreted by the Mongolian interpreter Batjil Bayar.
