Description
Sanskrit Shrestha (Bugge Wesseltoft’s New Concept of Jazz, Moksha, Bansal Band, Avatar) is a Nepalese tabla player resident in Norway. She describes herself as an observer of varied musical traditions.
As a young musician, Shrestha has been very active in bringing his Nepalese / Indian / Asian musical background together with jazz, electronics and other contemporary music styles.
In addition to being a creative musician, she is also an imaginative band leader and an adventurous composer.
