Description
After the Globus festival on Strømsø square, we invite you to a whole meditation night in Strømsø church. Our goal is to provide various possible inputs for meditation and focus.
Bring a sleeping mat and sleeping bag and spend the whole night in an atmosphere of tranquility and concentration. The arrangement is non-religious and open for all.
The event will be open so it is possible to come and go, but we will maintain the silence and peace throughout the hours. Those who want to participate should feel safe and taken care of by us that invites you.
Simen Korsmo Robertsen (grand piano/organ/electronics) and Ole Jørn Myklebust (trumpet / vocals/electronics) open with a concert.
There will be simple, and yet effective guided sequences of body and breathing exercises.
Further, the church will be transformed into a sound space for possible deep listening through a quiet sound installation «Non-shouts» by Simen Korsmo Robertsen
Tranquility and sleep in silence between 2.00 and 6.00
Breakfast Sunday morning will be served. There will also be hot drinks, something light to eat in one of the chapels and in this space also opportunity to chat as well. The priest will also be present the hole night with opportunity for conversation.
