Solveig Slettahjell retraces her musical heritage through traditional Norwegian church music. In May 2013, Solveig revisited the old wooden church of her childhood at Biri to record the psalms, spirituals and songs she grew up with. She comes from a long line of eager church-goers and musicians in the family, and her album Arven is inspired by this heritage.
