Description
This dynamic event marks the opening of the 6th Drammen Sacred Music Festival! We invite you to join us by Ypsilon bridge to celebrate with drums, gongs and music. The official opening, attended by County Governor Helen Bjørnøy and mayor Tore Opdal Hansen will be held inside Papirbredden.
We have two exciting, new, local groups that represent the breadth of Drammen’s music scene, and we are proud to present them at the opening.
Trio Ad Libitum with Eli-Marie Davidsen (saxophone), Galina Trintsoukova (piano) and Anne-Berith Ingemann Lille (flute), is a new ensemble in Drammen. Eli-Marie is best known as a beloved teacher at Drammen Music School. Galina is an organist and pianist of supreme skill. She accompanies choirs and soloists in Drammen, is the organist at Fjell Church, an accomplished concert pianist and teacher at a music school in Sande. Together they will be a classical repertoire.
Hädvig is a brand new group of young musicians who have a clear idea of why they play what they do. All their music is composed and played at 432 hertz. The band consists of three friends, Christoffer Mietle Furuheim, Anders Lieblein Røsæg & Sondre Drangsland. Their intention is to communicate the clarity and dynamic quality of music played at 432 hertz, which along with Tesla and Einstein, they see to be the perfect vibrational tone. Music created in this sound vibration range is harmonious and in tune with nature. They base their music on the idea that everything in this world is created and sustained by energy, and that each kind of energy has its own frequency. If one for example places a bowl of water on a vibrating board at 432 hertz, the geometric pattern it will create is far more beautiful and harmonious than that created by for example 440 hertz. By emphasizing this frequency and vibrational energy in their music, they hope to create a more peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. As they say themselves, Hädvig paints a large, atmospheric tonal landscape in lively and dynamic rhythms.
