Jon Schau (born February 9, 1966) is a Norwegian stand-up comedian. He debuted in a school play at Grefsen high school in 1985. In 1992 he starred in the cabaret with Jon Øigarden. Then he played various one-man shows around the country, before he started SUCK (Stand Up Comedy Club in Norway) in 1993. The show Fish or Man played to full houses for 121 nights in 1995. “143 laughs in fifty minutes” wrote a Bergen newspaper.
Schau has also been actor and screenwriter in the humour series Lyckegatan on TV2 and Sushi on TVNorge. In 2009 he started the production company Hippie Media and published a book inspired by his near-death experience in 2004, when he was in a coma for five weeks.
