Description
The renowned Syrian icon painter, Ossama Mossleh will be exhibiting his art at Bragernes Church. Born and brought up in Damascus, Syria, he was forced to leave his home when the situation worsened. He now lives with his wife and children in Lebanon. Having to give up his job as a teacher, he makes a living painting icons and has been responsible for large projects for local churches. He will also bring with him his lute, and play traditional Arabic songs. His attendance at the festival is dependent on being granted a visa, but his works will be displayed
nonetheless.
